coolant reservoir
Why are these no longer available? I remember replacing mine every so often when I'd break the nipple. I need another one and can't find a replacement anywhere. I sure don't want to put a generic one in. Any good ideas for a fix that doesn't look like an eyesore?

I think that's the one site I didn't look at, naturally. Thanks Hulk.

For your new K5? Call Marc Miller in Tulsa... I bet they have one.
I have a used one in good shape you can have, if it comes down to that. I think I have several new OE caps as well. I bought one and they sent me a box of 4, but I only paid for 1. :) |
Re: coolant reservoir
Good lead Randy, prefer something local. Of course now that I search with the word "overflow" rather than "coolant reservoir", they're all over the place.

Re: coolant reservoir
Now that I find that old one, I know I bought a new one from Marc Miller, because that is my old one. I only replaced it because I wanted new under the hood.

Re: coolant reservoir
I'll take you up on that Randy. I'm not picky yet, just want to stop using the coolant jug as an overflow. Any chance you're going to be around the shop on Saturday? I've got some work to do in Owasso provided it doesn't rain.

Re: coolant reservoir
I'm never far away, but I do have plans to be here and try and swap my buckets in the K5. I'll pm you the info when I get home from dinner tonight, that way you'll have my cell # and such.
