almost didn't recognize it.
 

wen to the salvage yard today,found a few 67-72. The first one I walked by it 3 times before I finally saw it.

It doesn't look like you'd find a lot of usable parts there. It makes me sad to see them like that.

Interesting pics. Posts like this make me wonder how many 67-72s are left out there (started out with 3 million or so). Thanks for posting.

Thats a shame. Those trucks probably had many usable parts, Until forklift/ stacking damaged them. The truck only junkyard that i frequent also did the same thing,now the sort the oldies out. I also gave them my phone # when the get 67-72s in the yard

it is a shame, to see them like that. but knowing that they may have helped another truck survive is somewhat comforting. I went back today to get a few more things and snapped these photos.

The sad part for me and I'm sure a lot of us is the fact that the trucks don't look that bad and there are or were some good parts on them before they played stack the trucks. The guy that stacked the large truck on top of the c30 needs a good old kick to the zipper area! cheers, Pat
