my dilemma.

I am in the process of trading away a vehicle, I have 2 possible options that have been presented to me. the original one is to my knowledge a restored and cared for 1985 sidestep shortbox its chev blue with a corvette LT1 engine (engine may or may not be part of deal) its almost a runner, just needs break lines and a front spindle replaced.
this package seems to make sense to me since its in working order.

the other option, which is more of a project and restoration (not that I am afraid, just I realize the potential amount of money involved.) dont have much information but its a 50's era or early 60's chev truck. from what I can see its missing all glass and grill, lights bumper (he may have them stored) engine I dont have a clue but the body is very solid and nice but seems to just be primed.

ahhh decisions decisions..
comes down to a running 85chev or a potential money pit 50's-60's chev but more unique and a real classic

get some price's on the glass and grill, then post picture's of your new 85 step side !
also, keep in mind that when buy's a used vehicle the engine almost alway's came out of a Corvette .
dont forget the picture's !

Looks like a 55-56 to me, and looks real solid. Those trucks are sought after, if the $$ is right.

Offer him a little $$$$ and take them both. Get the 85 running quick, then spend a couple years on the 56. You dont have to go high dollar on it put camaro clip on it and inexpensive paint and make it a driver.:metal:
