Will I Experience problems with Old Radiator?

Hey all, just wondering if im going to have any kind of problems using my old radiator. I am about to get my truck back from paint and am cleaning up the parts. My radiator has been sitting for about 6 months with nothing in it, maybe a lil moisture, but prob not really.

Not for sitting for 6 months, but if it is an original 40 year old radiator there is always a chance you could have a problem. While it is out I would take it to a radiator shop and have them pressure check it. If it checks out it might last another 40 years.

I'm all for original if it checks out.If there's any question,go new.I can't see using marginal parts on a truck that is finished enough to be in fresh paint.
