OT but dayum!!! Re: my buddies Supra...
His best pass so far....
10.4x@143 with a 1.8 short time. Daily Driven Supra with nothing removed for weight on some ET Drags. lol 719rwhp http://images.cardomain.com/installs...47_79_full.jpg |
I bet G could take it...
|
Hey brainless wonder(Dave), check your email I updated that pic. :D
|
and they can do it on the stock longblock, turbo upgrade only. And you guys wanna dis on all the imports
|
oh YEAH..Its totally stock internally...not just a turbo quite ..but it is all bolt ons and computer work. ;) Impressive as hell....
Izzy...what acct did you send it to?? Can you send it to me at work?? with the updated E.T. On it? ?lol or a second version with the E.T. ?? hehe royde@oge.com |
I have always liked those Supra's.
|
A local fella dynoed 900.4 w/o his two stage nitrous...that was built though.
He is shooting for 4-digits now w/o nitrous. Talk about a cool car. |
There is a guy in TX that last week put down 984 with a stock bottom end supra.... lol

We don't hate imports, we hate ricers! The Supra in question here is a nice car, built to go fast....not an ugly car, built to LOOK fast. ...got it?? -Jeff |

Just please tell him not to put one of those 6' wings on the back of it. :( :D
|
I agree with you Jeff. There is a big difference between a ricer and a nice import. When they go all out with all the stickers and add ons it pisses me off.
|
Yeah Tom, what are you smoking? :)

I will have to take pics around here, weve got a 1,000 hp supra, and a few eclipses and talons that will hang with a mildly modded 03 cobra (11.90s)

The crap you got (and not from me, at least I don't think), was good clean "we are your friends" type of fun. :) :D
If you had a type-r sticker, and non body color ground effects, just to name a few, then you deserved it. :D -Jeff |
I seen the Honda hes talking about and its far from a ricer :)

nice car I would like to run it with my GNX it would be tight:flag:

If it is a true GNX (and NOT a Grand National) then you have quite a rare and desireable car, not to mention a fast one! :) -Jeff |
GNX's are nice..but not that fast stock. Most will run a high 12 with perfect conditions but usually low 13's . We had a modded 87 GN that went 11.55@118 and it had under 4k in mods. lol!!
Fun cars but one purpose only....go straight. Post up some pics of your GNX....and if your running low 10's?? why did you tear into a GNX and not a GN? |
For those who didnt know much about the GNX (like me :)) check out this link:
