72 Big Block motor mounts

1 Attachment(s)
Complete with clam shells and rubber mounts $175 plus shipping. These are close to already being ready for paint or powder. I have hit them with the wire wheel.

Kevin, My apologies I just realized they are much different than my 68 has. I knew the BB and Small block were different. I was reading on getting new rubber mounts and then saw the different pictures and year break downs.

Unless you are trying to be 100% correct these will bolt in your truck. You may have to drill 1 hole in each side of the engine crossmember to bolt it completely in. They will also make it easier to mount the engine once installed and new motor mounts are leass expencive than the 68-71s. I put a set in my 67 panel. WES

Re: 72 Big Block motor mounts

After pulling my engine out on my 68 They are not very impressive in the strength area. I have some POL mounts that are tubular steel but they say small block and Big block.

Not sure if the BB and SB sit different?

It has me thinking hard about not Using POL s and the Chevelle mounts I have that take the bolt through out side not like the clam shell and rubber mounts clamped in between steel that are meant for a BB like yours.

Can you make a better deal or is $200 shipped the best you can do & you don't or can't accept PAYPAL?

I'm seriously thinking not using the ones I have. I'll look at the rubber or ploy mounts here in a minute.

PAYPAL would make it much easier for me I would pay the fee they charge on your end. If we cam make something work.

Got these in my 68 and they fit great but no motor on them yet. Soon.

So I should have to drill the lower front hole on each of these since the 68 never had the hole?

Is it the upper frame holes being close to the center rib that ID's them as BB? Just curious.

Re: 72 Big Block motor mounts

you will have to drill the lower hole if it was a smal block truck
