Cab Swap????
Will a 61 cab fit onto a 64 frame without modifications?

Re: Cab Swap????
I dont think so, the 60-61 frames are wider than the 63-66 frames. I would measure to verify

Re: Cab Swap????
Front cab supports are spaced differently, rears are the same.
Also has the twin holes in the firewall, but a conversion bracket is avialable from CaptainFab to run a newer pb booster. T |
Re: Cab Swap????
Thanks guys. I was thinking of swapping over from my 64 sheet metal to a 61 like my Grandfather had. I have done too much work on my frame to change all that over too. I will just stay with what i have, LOL.

Re: Cab Swap????
You don't have to change anything on the frame. To install a '60-'62 cab onto a '63-'66 frame all you need to do is drill a new hole in the floor of the cab farther inboard to line up with the frame bracket.
