weird qwestion

i have 2:73 ****y gears and my friend was think that the rim size and width could change the hole shot like having 3:73 gears. i think this is crazy but had to ask

Ok, for comparison sake:

26" tall tire + 3.73 gear = 19" tall tire + 2.73 gear
28" tall tire + 3.73 gear = 20.5" tall tire + 2.73 gear
30" tall tire + 3.73 gear = 22" tall tire + 2.73 gear
33" tall tire + 3.73 gear = 24" tall tire + 2.73 gear
36" tall tire + 3.73 gear = 26" tall tire + 2.73 gear

So is it possible, sure. Is it likely you are going to do that, no.
