Here's some that I've posted before. I have finally started the final body work and will post more as I progress.

Hey gaddman, looks great so far. You gonna put an ac dash in it? How about welding up the seam across the top of the cab?

Should real good when your done!

gaddman 03-25-2002 11:54 PM

Thanks! I am welding up the seam too. I am replacing the rusted dash, but my donor is not AC. Had not really planned on AC unless I go with aftermarket underdash unit. I can still cut out and use factory type vents with an aftermarket unit I think.

I think an aftermarket AC in non AC cab may be better-more efficient and a cleaner looking install....my thoughts

I agree w/ebfab but I've always liked the stock vents better than underdash aftermarket pieces. I'm using Vintage Air w/stock vents in a non a/c cab & cutting my own holes.

Will rain leak into my truck a lot if the drip
rail moulding have been removed? I have a '70 SB and want to shave my drip
rails, but I will drive this truck daily and keep it outside.

Anyways, any help would
be appreciated!

Not at all wildmanaaron, I had my 72 shaved and my 68 no problems with rain
