What leaf spring setup?

Hey guys I have been checking this site out for a long time but just joined. There are lots of great builds here and lots of knowledge so I thought maybe you could help point me in the right direction. I am helping my uncle with his 53 GMC and I cannot find anyone who knows about the rear spring set up on the truck. Check out these pics and see if you can help point me in the right direction.
