NICE Tailgate!
 

Story goes it was removed 40 years ago when a camper was put on the '68 Chevy C20 .....good story, but definitely not take off quality of the orange and white one in another post. Seems to be factory blue color with some scratches here and there, NO rust, most wear is around on the handle. Just washed and did a quick wax on it...No bow, visible dents, etc. Please request any other pics or details here in the post. A little concerned how to ship...but open to it if suggestions are in buyers and sellers best interest of it getting to you in as is condition. So, would prefer local sale ;)

Basing the weight at 85 pounds, the cost to ship to you is 110.10. The max value through Greyhound is $300.00 so that is a bit of a concern. I would want suggestions on exactly how to package to insure it getting to you safely also. And FedEx Ground quotes at 145.79. LMK

Weird, same exact shipping cost as NC, using what I thought would be closest Greyhound (Columbus).

I will take it. As far as shipping, If you will cover it well in heavy cardboard and tape it securely, there should be no issue. I have gotten several gates and doors including NOS in nothing more than the oem cardboard and not even a scratch. I am willing to run the risk as they tend to be pretty careful with the stuff they ship. How do you want to be paid? Let me tell you, if I didn't already have a new take off, I'd not hesitate to buy it and pay the fed ex shipping...still more than worth that combined price. :metal:
