Carb rebuild HELP. electic choke
 
I've got my qjet all torn down and ready to soak. My question is will wit be ok to submerge the electric part in the carb cleaner? Maybe i'm dumb but i saw no way to take this piece off.

I think you will be okay with it in a soak

If you are speaking of the black heater part the wire hooks to no....I wouldn't soak that. If there's no screws to remove it, It must still have the pop rivets in place. Drill them out to remove before soaking.

According to the book and YouTube video I looked at prior to rebuilding my Quad, they all said NOT to soak the electric choke parts...

well now putting it back together i went to seat the check ball and now it is stuck
