2 Attachment(s)
1967 CST LWB.
Body is now off and frame has been prepped and coated with Chassis Saver. Tubular Control Arms installed. Motor, 406, is complete and waiting to be installed when the trans, 700r4, gets done. Entropy Radiator w/ dual fan set up ready to go. CPP Grand Slam kit installed, 3 1/2 fr / 4 rr. Disc front / Drum rear brakes. C-notch installed. Gas tank is getting relocated to the rear. My son is working on the cab now. Replaced rockers, rear cab corners, and small piece of the left rear floor. One piece window kit is going in also. Wings had to go. I may be sorry about that one. More photos to come. And this was supposed to be a quick project! |

my photo uploads aren't working for some reason. Working on that.
In the process now of getting the crap off the bottom of the cab. Very time consuming. Firewall has been welded up. New wheels and tires are waiting to go on. |

Re: And the Fun Begins!!
Thats a beautiful green what color is it?
|
Re: And the Fun Begins!!
Thanks.
It's Synergy Green from the new Camaro. We used a base color first to make the paint really pop. I say we, it was my son who does all the body and paint work. It looks better in person. |

Re: And the Fun Begins!!
My son already replaced the rockers and cab corners. Cleaned and welded up the seam on the top backside of the cab. Shaved the gas filler hole. Need to finish up the inside and the rest of the cab. Then start on the bed. Still a lot to do.

Re: And the Fun Begins!!
Nice looking work! I like your color choice for sure.
Are you going to leave the top of your dash polished? Seems like you would get a lot of glare on the windshield. Look killer though!:metal: |

Here is a pic with hot rod satin on my dash. I know my fathers 72 gave him trouble we he had it gloss. Heck if it does throw a towel on it for the drive.
What kind of paint are you spraying? |
Re: And the Fun Begins!!
PPG ShopLine for the first base color and DBC 2000 for the second color and then ShopLine Medium Temp Clear.

Re: And the Fun Begins!!
I'm in on this. I can't wait till I can paint my truck the same green. I've been in love with that green ever since I first found it trying to find a certain green I like. Boy does that sure look purty.
