Hey just bought a 1969 K 2500 from the original owner.... 200k and it looks great all the trim.. box stock. Question??? this truck had camper mirrors, i took them off and am wondering how to get the "rivets" out of the stock mirror holes?

The stock holes in mine are filled with phillips head screws. If rivets, I would pull the inner panels and see what it looks like from behind (could be blind nuts of some kind). If just regular rivets, I would carefully drill them out.

Done some stuff.. Lost the shell getting a low profile one. Rims off a 3/4 ton GMC van had to cut the ends off the rear caps to get them to fit. All fluids changed, new belts, plug wires, transmission serviced. brakes done(power).... Runs good... Get allot of remarks when I drive it.http:///Users/vhandel/Desktop/IMG_3351.JPG

The old steel wheels were lame... Didn't want to spend 700$ so I found a set of 99 GMC wheels had to cut the rear covers but all in all I think it looks good.

you stated it is a K2500? Is it 4x4, because it looks like a 2wd. Maybe just the angle of pics? Nice truck though.
