Hey guys found this site through 73-87.com and i decided to check this link out hopefully you guys can help me down the road.
What i have got u might ask is a 1987 CHEVY Wrangler , came with a stock 262 inline or V can remeber , then the last own put a 305 TBI in it wich is alright but i am wanting to replace it in the near future hopefully. whjat i am might add: accel pro performer 300 + wire set accel starter coil accel cap and rotor heedman headers either hooker muffler or cherry bomb/turbo K/N Airfilter K/N Oil filter AC DELCO plugs new Batt BOOM Tubes 5'' monster tach Future add on's B&M Slap Shifter Outlaw rims new paint job :bowtie: :canada: :burnout: |

What's the Wrangler? I have heard of the GMC Wrangler, but don't know what makes them diffrent from other models.

I looked at the auction, which is now closed.
Looks like a GMC hood ornament. But the style looks like 80 or newer. Still don't know what it is...............after rereading the description it is from the 80's. Emailed him to see if he could tell me more about it................. |
I think I can shed some light on this wrangler question. It was a GMC "Wrangler". Very similar to the Sierra in trim package, but with a much different paint scheme. They were avaiable as 2tone only and the bottom of the truck (below the body line) was allways white. The hood/roof was available as red, blue, and black. It was very rare arond here to see black though. As far as I know, the Wrangler was also allways a LWB truck. It was available as both 2 and 4 wheel drive and 1/2 and 3/4ton.
I guess it wasn't available in the US? Like the pontiac tempest. Anyone else able to add to this? |
