WTB: Willing to drive for a Fleetside NOS tailgate
 

I’m leaving Boston for New Mexico on Friday or Saturday and hope to find a NOS tailgate in between. I thought I had a deal to buy one from a board member but now it looks like that’s not going to happen. I’m left scrambling for another. I realize it’s a long shot. Thanks for the help.

I have one in Indiana with the original box and straight as an arrow. Here is a pic (I was not intending to sell the other parts shown but would consider it). I want $900 for the gate.

I found a guy abandoning a project that included a load great NOS stuff on Craigslist (It took a 24 foot trailer to haul it all). It was on CL for at least a week, I couldn't believe it when I read it. Sure enough, he had everything mentioned in the ad and more. The parts were priced fairly and were kept inside his house since the '80s. Parts are out there, just watch for them. Every time I sell any NOS stuff, some part of me knows I should have kept them. Certainly NOS parts have been a better investment than the stock market the past few years.
