18" TTII's

I've been looking thru a lot of threads including the picture thread and have not found the definative answer about American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. I would like to go with a 18" or 20" wheel but need to know the width and backspacing. If there is a thread where this was discussed please let me know. I've looked thru the archive and have not seen a response that would answer these questions. Thank you so much!!

Mine are 17's but I think you run the same backspacing on the 18's and 20's here is a thread with pictures and info in post #5....

youwish,
Are you looking to run staggered sizes or same front and back? Also, if someone could do a photoshop of your truck with gray spoke AR TT II's would be fun to see.

I'm surprised that more have not posted in this thread there are so many sweet looking trucks in the picture thread but a lot of those don't list wheel and tire specs. I REALLY on want to do this once...

Mine were 18x8 with 4.5"bs in front and 18x10 with 5.25"bs in the rear . Tires were 255/55/18 front and 275/60/18 rears . Never rubbed or touched anywhere and it rode great. It was lowered with Western Chassis 2.5 spindles in front and 4" drop leafs in the rear .

You got it Frank... Dave is a good friend of mine and bought the red/white truck. I still have my black 87.
We have the same tastes in Corvettes, muscle cars, and trucks. Dave will continue to improve on where I left off. Can't wait to see it with the 18" AR's installed.

Sorry I missed your question. I bought them from sporttruckdirect.com but I think they are out of business now.

Seems that most places don't know about 18" or larger AR TTII's so for those of you that have found somewhere to order them for you would you mind passing along a link or phone number? Thanks!

newstalgia?
wheelsforless?
This is where I've been looking for 18" AR II's with custom backspace for the 72 RS.
I thought the 18's were common. What don't they know about them?

Talked to wheels for less today and the 18" wheel is a special order from AR for $350 a piece. Just trying to locate the best source is all... The ones for the 72 are you looking at TTII's or the CL205's from AR?

BTW... whats up with you only replying to every other text? You hiding in a hole?

Re: 18" TTII's

I have to go with the CL205's for custom backspacing. Very expensive and 8 week lead time.
Can't you find the right 18" AR TT II's on the shelf to fit the 86?
About my text....don't know instantly when I receive one.
We taking the girls to Grille 57 tomorrow?.....we talk without text. I'm taking the RS.
