Autometer Tachometer and Signal

Hey guys ... I have a new autometer Tachometer ... what I have a HEI module thats being triggered off a magnetic pickup , I am generating 4 pules per rev .
I am generating a pulse right off the module , the C terminal . The Autometer tach is not reading this signal .

Re: Autometer Tachometer and Signal

Are you certain your tach has a good power and a good ground?

Re: Autometer Tachometer and Signal

There should only be 2 hookups, 12v and tach on the HEI. Don't hook your tach light and 12V to the same lead to the tach.
