drop spindels
 

i bought some drop spindels from ECE. What years of calipers and rotors go with those spindel?

They take 1-1/4" wide rotors.
I always tell the parts guy I'm working on a 1973 truck.
Rotors and calipers and bearings should all be the Heavy Duty 1-1/4" wide version.
(Since you couldn't get a 1" rotor in '73,... that's the year I tell them)

I assume you are switching to 5-lug?
ECE sells 6-lug rotors also.

i have 5 lug drums. doing the change for the disc brake. i ask for rotor for a 72. are 72 rotor not thick enough. and the caliper should they be for a 73 as well?



ok i just checked they are 1 1/4.. i have a set of calipers but they are from 84 and they dont look like i can use them.

71-72 rotors are the same width as 73's.
