how much more narrow are the 67-70 rear ends?

Just need the overall length hub to hub. Difference from the 71-72 rear ends.

Actually, aren't the '70 rearends the same as the '71-2? I have always understood that the '60-69 are the same width.

I have an interchange book, but it's not where I am.

2xs I put 71 or 72 5 lugs axles straight into my 70 without any problem:chevy:

From what I understand they changed rearend widths midway through 1970.

Yep, my '70 has the wider rear end. I have a 71 or 72 donor rear and I'm just going to swap the 5 lug axles to my 70 rear.
