Driveshaft Help

Hi guys, I need to replace the carrier bearing on my truck. I have the part ordered and I have a shop ready to press it on. But I cant for the life of me figure out how to take the driveshaft out. I know this has gotta sound dumb. But I am pretty new to fixing stuff up. Any help would be great!!
Thanks!

Re: Driveshaft Help

Go to the rear axle. Locate the rear u-joint. There will be two caps that are U-shaped. Remove the nuts and the u-joint can be removed from the axle. Where the center carrier bearing is located, there are two bolts on the top side. Remove those two bolts and it wll drop away from the chassis. Then, you can slide the ass'y back and out of the tailshaft of the transmission.

Now, you can start working.....
