What's the top left gauge? Would think volts, but it looks like I see the number 30.

Also, could you get a pic of the gauges lit up?

INSIDIOUS '86 07-16-2011 04:16 AM

Re: my iroc guages done!

i will get a pic, i have red bulbs that give a nice red alert look and the top gauge is an amnmeter that isnt hooked up that im going to swap to a voltmeter

Re: my iroc guages done!

i belive that if you hook the rpm gauge to constant power it drains the battery, cause my battery drains like crazy now haha plus i have an underdrive pulley, idk im gonna have to check and do some solutions, no gauge light pics tonight

Re: my iroc guages done!

No rush then on the lighted pics. Are the gauges backlighted, or does the light come from around the sides like the stock gauges do?

INSIDIOUS '86 07-16-2011 05:31 AM

Re: my iroc guages done!

still stock gauge lighting. just red

Very nice install. Are they plug and play on the connections? How much modification is required?

I'm interested depending on price and if they are plug and play :-)

the are just about a plug an play. if i do start producing these i will have everything wired up minus the tach function which you have to do yourself but the plastic bezel that holds the gauges needs alot taken out there are no more seatbelt or brake check warning lights and the iroc speedo lines up with the blue BRIGHTS light

Re: my iroc guages done!

That looks real nice and clean. I've owned a few IROCS and like the look. Simply out of curiosity, why not use the rest of the IROC gauges so they all match?
