I just recently had my gas tank cleaned out at a radiator shop was wondering if i have to put some kind of sealer in the inside to prevent it from rusting again?

Re: gas tank sealer?
They shoulda did it when they had it, my shop did. It's some kinda red stuff. If they didn't then yes, seal it

POR-15 and Eastwood both sell a tank sealer as well.

I did something in a bike once and it was white when all done. It worked great.

Another vote for POR-15 here. I just did my tank. It's been waiting to go back in for a few weeks now.

Re: gas tank sealer?
I used Red Kote. Nice thing is you can see where it goes.

Re: gas tank sealer?
I have used POR 15 on five tanks and had good results all the way around. Takes most of the day if you follow instructions.

Re: gas tank sealer?
Curious as to what they charged to clean your tank? I have also heard that it ruins the welding or soldering around the filler neck...any problems ?

Re: gas tank sealer?
I do motorcycle tanks. Anytime I deal with raw tanks, I use the Red Kote.
