Looking for small mud flaps/rock guards?
My freshly painted K10 has been gettin pretty chipped up mainly on the lower rear quarter panels and randomly all down the lower undersides. Does anybody make any small hard plastic mud flaps or rock deflectors that would mount up to the front and rear fender wells and not hang down to awfully far? What are my options here to protect my paint? It's a black truck so every little thing shows up. Mudflaps? rock guards? Some type of rocker protectors?

You could always cut them out of a sheet of stainless to whatever shape you want.

Thanks for the replies guys. I dont think that film would be enough for what I'm needing. I'll search the parts stores and see if there is anything I may be able to modify to fit my needs.

Re: Looking for small mud flaps/rock guards?
Ive seen some fiberglass mud flaps/lower fender extensions for the front but I have no idea who makes them. I'd like to find some for my truck though as my front tires stick out enough to throw some rocks. These get painted body color and aren't as ugly as your typical napa mudflap

Have you considered that spray on rock guard stuff, like Rhino liner? I've seen a lot of trucks with a strip of it painted along the entire lower edge of the truck and it looks pretty good... I guess you wouldn't want it on a show truck though.

Re: Looking for small mud flaps/rock guards?
I just painted mine last winter also. I looked all over for some nice mud guards and couldn't find anything other than the flat ones that look tacky. I would think you could find some molded ones and adapt to fit nice, but haven't done it yet.

I dont want to rhino line it, not this truck anyway. If it was a daily driver/less expensive ride I would think that would be a great idea. I am getting alot of rock chips and I dont even have off-road tires on it....yet.
