1 Attachment(s)
Ive got a 1972 Chevy K20 Suburban and I need help decoding some of the numbers. I looked up the first few but need help with the last half. Here is the VIN: CKE262F124569
I know its a Chevy Suburban V8 produced in Flint, MI but other than that im lost, can anyone help with the last few numbers? Thanks so much!! K20 Suburban with a 327, 350 turbo trans/205 Trans case 37.5x16.5 Goodyears |
Re: VIN Decoding Help
The last 6 digits are usually the unit number (1xxxxx)...so your would of been the 24,569th burb off the Flint production line
so C= Chevy K=4x4 E=V8 2=5,200 6=burb 2=1972 F=Flint 124659= vehicle # off the flint line I use this...probably one of the few things LMC has that I like:D http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=9 |
Re: VIN Decoding Help
24,569th truck... not burb. I am 99% sure all models came down all lines
