Tailgate with logo only?
 
Did Chevy make a 1980's pickup with just the logo on the tailgate and not the name Chevrolet? Any idea on where I could see pictures of tailgates? Thanks....

Painted alot of these trucks in my day and i don't ever recall seeing one

Plain tailgates are usually reproductions. LMC has em for cheaper than the "CHEVROLET" stamped ones.

I'm sure that it's a trademark thing. No one would be allowed to reproduce the actual Chevrolet lettering w/o permission (License) Even the Bowtie would be trademarked, so I don't know how they would get by with that either?
