4" drop coils in rear

I installed 4" drop coils in the rear of a 72 c10, is it necessary to c-notch the frame or will I run into problems. This will not be a working truck, more of a days off work cruising type driver.

dropped mine 4" without a notch no problem but relocate shocks for the best ride

All my old trucks have been 6 inch dropped in the rear with no c-notch on any of them.

I've got the shock relocate kit so I guess I'm good to go. Thanks for the quick response guys. I'm glad there won't be anymore cutting and welding to my frame.
