aluminum rim pitting
 
I bought a set of 94?? aluminum 5 star chevy rims. thing is, around the centercap on the wheel itself is pitted pretty bad. can i fix this? and how?

Not too sure.. i can move to the paint n body and see what they think if you would like?

yeah sure, I'm realizzing just how bad they are, might just fill the pits with some sort of filler, sand it all down and paint. just wish there was a paint that could give me a brushed aluminum look.

Ok maybe they will have some ideas other than replacing them.

yeah I'd be mojorly bummed if theyre beyond help. bought them mostly for the wheels. the tires are ok but mismatched, andthe extra set of studded tires are brand new, all for250. so i guess i cant complain.
