Take a scanner with you,see what you got. Crawl underneath,spend some time looking for suspicious leaks and jack it up to see if anything wobbles. Then bargain.

looks like a real nice truck. any rust? thats what id look for along with the machanics of course. check that they didnt bondo the heck out of it. the po may have kept up with the body,cause the inside looks well taken care of. price seems good for pa.im sure you can haggle a bit. good luck!

I have not checked it out yet. Maybe today. I'm guessing that the mileage won't be the best with that engine...

yeh,but wouldnt let that stop me. i get 12 with my 1990 w/350. put i only get 15 with my 2011 5.3. 3 mpg x new truck payment = not to worry about it. lol

Looks like it was taken care of. Check the rockers, cab corners and wheel wells for rust. I also wouldn't worry about mileage. I get 12 with my 3/4 ton, and its got 4.10 gears. I got 13.5 with my '07 2500HD. They don't seem to be getting any better that way.

TBI 350s can do decent on gas. My '91 350 can do 22mpg on the highway, but that is with a 5-speed. My '94 extended cab 350 can do 18-19.
