Jimmy compatibility?

I have a question about the combatibilty between an 84 K20 and 89 K5 Jimmy? I just put new 4" lift springs in the front of my 84 K20 and a friend was asking if my stock springs will fit is Jimmy? He's asking because he's noticed the front of his Jimmy is diving when braking and causing his front end to shimmy under braking, probably due to worn out springs and all the wieght being transfered forward. He was wondering, as am I, if my 3/4 ton front springs will bolt into his Jimmy, in hopes of controlling the diving. This truck is his daily driver and in beautiful shape, but he's been fighting a braking and steering issue for a few months and we think this may help if the springs will fit.

Re: Jimmy compatibility?

Best way to know for sure is to measure the springs... Eye to eye, width of the springs and center pin to eye length for axle position. Good luck with your project.
