I am pulling my hair out looking on here watching all you guys selling all these rust free CC. If I could only find one in Canada rust free. If I could only find a good one near me that I could afford right now.

I agree with you madcow, boy oh boy, do I agree with you. Nothing but rusted out "cowboy cadillacs" out west here too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I've got an idea....How bout a beerrun down south for some rustfree 'zona cc duallys????????????????????? A 53' lowboy should bring a couple back to the north country, EH???

Re: Parting a 78 4x4 crew cab dually

Yes I agree. They seem to be a dime a dozen down there. I have a good CC for around here but it still isn't good enough for me. Drip rails down mint, around roof lights top of windsheild and around top of doors are shot. But I do have another roof to graft on, but I am not looking forward to doing this. I would love a CC gem in the rough, but it would cost at a good price. Also you would need to deal with the dmv crossing the boarders.

Heres pics of the dually fenders
I sure would like to make you a deal on this, I know it can be a hassle getting non running stuff across the border.

Uncut underdash wiring harness? from fuse panel to underdash? I just bought yesterday a 2 wheel drive blazer. The PO swapped in a 86 steering comlumn and made a big mess underneath. My blazer originally came with tilt cruise column shift, so I need one of those and as complete wiring harness to fix the under dash stuff, it also has A/C, full gauges, tach and power rear window.

Thanks,
Steve

IS the front axle a 8 Lug? How much for the front axle?

Re: Parting a 78 4x4 crew cab dually

Hey guys, I've already scrapped this truck, the dash harness was shot, the 8 lug axle was already sold & I have a 78 grill, would that work, if so I'll get a pic, tilt column was in there but heavily damaged, so it was scrapped too.
Thanks,
Tom

Is the chrome chipped up at all, if so how much? and what color are the middle pieces, and are they faded, or messed up at all?

The center pieces are painted silver, they have been in the arizona sun for 30 years, i'm sure they have faded from original.
There are scratches in the chrome.
The 2 tabs that are mentioned as damaged are the only 2 that have damage.
I do not have any more pictures right now.
This is just a driver quality grill.
Shipping would be $30
Thanks,
Tom
