Headliner ???

At the U-pull it yard the other day and noticed a burb with a nice blue headliner that would match reall nice in my truck. Has anyone used the front half of the burb liner for there p/u?

I bet you could make it work. You could trim it and the cut lines would be under your trim pieces. I know the rear trim pieces are a lil different, but I'm sure it would work. Does the burb have the grab straps in it like the blazers? If so you'd have to put those in your truck, otherwise you'd have holes there in the headliner where they mounted. Does your truck and the burb have the same visor mounts? Some later model burbs had the two piece mount (clip/holder on the end to keep it from sagging down). This would also leave a hole in the headliner if you didn't re-use them the same way.

I don't think they're too close, and I say this because I think the pickup has contoured edges to fit around the cab roof while the burban is more of a raised edge except the back where it connects to the other is just flat but i have both of them out of the trucks ill get some pics for you when I get home also here's another headliner thread I posted in you should be able to get an idea if they're close or not http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=470596

Ok cool. I was looking @ it and I think the the problem would be were the p/u rounds out in the back the burbs is straight. Maybe I can buy the whole thing and glue the back of the burb liner where it rounds out and recover it.

Finally got the pictures to work but here's the silverado headliner and the last one is a suburban front piece on the suburban the back which is closest to me in the picture is flat compared to the silverado's raised edge all the way around and the whole thing and the raised piece going from one side to the other. I also showed the rear headliner on the suburban to show the flat connecting part
