The entire grille support on my truck was powder coated back in 1998. When I repainted the truck a couple years ago I just prepped it like any other paint and reshot the whole truck. It made a great base for the new paint. If you're going to paint the letters with something like One Shot enamel you won't have any problems at all.

I am thinking of using some Dupli-Color spray paint from the auto parts store.
Should I use primer first and how should I prep the surface. I was thinking of just scuffing it up with a scotch bright pad.
This is not a question about my grill any more but about my wheels. I am planing on powder coating them in the future but am saving my money for a new interior. But I am anxious to see what they will look like white. |
