Measuring for Frame Squareness
I have always just assumed that my frame was good and straight I have never had a body on the frame for as long as I have owned it.
Can anyone tell me where and what measurements I should take to see if it is indeed a good square frame? I'd really hate to put in all this work only to find out after paint that I bought a screwed up frame. |

Re: Measuring for Frame Squareness
If you have a factory assembly manual, there's a page in there showing measurements....

Re: Measuring for Frame Squareness
if it's a bare frame you can take a tape and measure corner to corner in an "X" pattern ... should be within 1/8"-1/4"
