Which bench will fit a '69?
 

Howdy all -

Got our son his first truck a couple weeks ago. It's a '69 long bed with a 350...nothing fancy. Primer'd, but good body and motor. Inside needs a little work, but I told him that's the beauty of these older trucks...you can actually work on them :)

Anyhow...it has buckets in it now, but we need to put a bench in it so he can take his brothers to school too. Scrap yards say that don't have anything and nothing on CLs or anywhere like that in the area. There were a few that had 82 and an 84 bench.

How would these match up...or would they?

i found a 85 bench seat and it fits in with no problems just drilled holes for the brackets
3rd row seats works too

Sharp lookin inside. My son liked the scheme. He's lookin at red/black!

On your advice, went to look at CLs for the 84...there's also a '79 bench up now too. Looks like you took the tank out. Is it in the back? Guess if he didn't have that in there, he'd have more options.

yes i took the fuel tank and relocated it to the rear

88-94 Chevy/GMC truck bench seats will work.

Without removing the tank? I'm sure eventually we'll relocate it, but for now, he's trying to get it going so he can show it off at school next week...kids :D

Yes.
88-94 seats only
Only two holes have to be drilled.
The later 95-98 seats will work with a fabricated floor mount.

Awesome. I'll open up my search for those seats too. May have better luck.
