Here's a modification I started on my Bumper yesterday, and a picture of my inspiration. It's not finished but I think you get the look I'm going for.

If you move the bumper back up to where it should be, you won't have to worry about filler panels. Anytime I've ever seen a sectioned front bumper done like this, fillers have never been needed.

I like the looks of the brown truck but it kinda looks like it got punched in the nose :lol:

Those are 94-98 grilles. They are alittle longer. With 88-93 if you dont use the filler, you have to raise the bumper up from the stock location.

I agree. That bumper is taken back a little too far for me.

what did you do to your bumper brackets to move the bumper back... this looks awesome and whats the point of the frame mod dose it move the bumper up more?

Right now, I just have the outer brackets done, I'll try to take some pictures today. The outer brackets were done by cutting a pie shape out and bending back 3 inches, and drilling a new hole for the bolt.

Because of the rounded shape of the bumper, to bring it back three inches the frame had to be brought up a little. Doesn't raise it. Just keeps it the same height three inches back. :-)

i was thinking if i did this i would bring it up to make up the differance of the filler piece i got a 93 style grille same as you whats the measurement between the top of the bumper and how much more will i have to clearance off the frame?
