i need rims for my two 4door 4x4s ones an 8 lug ones a 6. i wanna get some ideas. even if its not a 73-87 if its and older vehicle thats good to. Thanks

Here's my set-up to go on my '77 crew cab project!

16"x8" Mickey Thompson Classic Lock's powder coated 60% semi-gloss black with the polished simulated bead lock rings. The bead lock bolts will be getting replaced with black button head versions.

Tires are 285/75-16 Mickey Thompson Baja Radial ATZ's. Only running a mild 2.5" lift, so didn't really need any bigger than this & not fond of large wheels on the 73-87 4x4's.

Do people that get the MT classic knock offs ever have them clear coated before mounting? I noticed most of the ones I've see online (summit, etc) don't typically state that they are clear coated so I'd imagine need lots of re-polishing.

I read that the outlaw II style wheels from AR, ion, etc are clear coated, but I haven't found any of the baja style wheels that are clear coated from the factory (reading the product descriptions anyway).

I have the mickey thompson classic IIs on my 03 and got them from summit they will not come clear coated which i now realize how heavy a mistake it was for me not to get them clear coated because I've spent days polishing them and now im getting them professionally polished then clear coated which i suggest but i also slightly neglected mine because i do not like the look of them and they actually didn't pit after a few years of not cleaning them and came quite clean so far but the center caps pitted because the chrome, not sure where there made by mine have a nice little sticker saying made in china lol guess that's where there made - here's some pics a before and during then a during and after may not look like much but in person it looks much better
