Need some opinions

well i decided to cut up my dually and build a crew cab short bed 1/2 ton, ive been collecting parts and have everything to do the swap well except the time lol.

heres the problem idk which direction i wanna go in with this thing.

Option a: leave all the trim, door handles, mirrors, marker lights, and just lower it on 22 inch rims and drive it.

Option b: shave everything, door handles, drip rails, marker lights, mirrors, etc., and lower it on 22 inch rims

im really leaning towards option b but the only problem is i plan on driving this thing everyday like i do now and with no mirrors i think thats not gonna be the safest thing and ima end up tearing it up. But theres no way to shave everything and keep the big bulky mirrors.

X2, since you plan to use it everyday. The rest could be done later, if it becomes a toy.

Only thing with shaving everything that concerns me is the mirrors, there are just no mirror options that look good for these crew cab trucks.

Thinking of repainting it that new ford grabber blue also

My opinion? Leave that truck alone.

Sell it to someone who can appreciate it and use it for what it is: a clean, fairly straight crew cab 1 ton dually.

Find yourself a 4-door cab and a regular 1/2 ton frame and mate them. It sounds like you're going to have a lot of custom parts on this thing, so why cut up an otherwise good truck?

Thought about this over and over lol. Truck has a salavage title so ppl tend to run when u tell them that. Truth is i built this truck from a wreck and 4 or 5parts trucks only needs a few things here and there but truth is im just ready for something different.

If you can find a set of 1990 suburban power mirrors, they look pretty good. They have the basic shape of the 1988-1998 body style small mirrors, but a different base for our trucks.
That truck looks good!

Fair enough. Thanks for the additional info, too, as it makes it easier for me to understand where you're coming from.
