Need help on suspension

Im doing a ground up restoration and I am wanting to upgrade the suspension w/ disk breaks, a tighter gear box and stablizer. Question, from what year and what parts will interchange with our trucks. Also what do ya'll think about the paint "por-15".

por-15 is some great stuff, just use it wisely, hmm 73 till (someone help) and up trucks have front suspesion parts that can easly adapt to our trucks.

Just painted my frame I sandblasted with POR-15. Looks great and hard as a rock. All it needs now is a topcaot. Still wearing some on my hands from when I took off my gloves though. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif

POR-15 is awesome stuff, I've got it everywhere, looks great and lasts forever, I've done motors, frames, inside panels, the stuff rocks!!

there were some little quicker ratio boxes in 73-80, were optional though, dunno the odds of locating one though, look in glovebox doors on the labels on the trucks if you go hunting in yards for one
