Temp and oil pressure gauges

I did a quick search on this topic but the results seemed to be all over the place. I have a 1987 R10 and the PO swapped the TBI for a 350 crate motor and ran aftermarket temp and oil pressure gauges. What sensors or connectors will I need to switch back to the factory gauges? And where do they connect to the engine? If you have pics they are appreciated. Thanks

Re: Temp and oil pressure gauges

Best place IMO for the temp sensor is in the head, pick a spot. Oil pressure on a small block is normally on the back side by the distributor. If the stock gauges are in the dash, pick up the sending units that are correct to the truck and put them in. The under hood wire for the temp is normally green and the oil is normally brown. If the ends were cut off the original wires, just splice on a connector and go.
