I think I saw one on eBay last year. Same diamond plate deal, too.

That's new to me...I dig long-beds, but that is just ridiculous.

Buy it and slam it. It would look twice as long laying on the ground.

I thought 74's were all round headlights? I like the 12 foot bed and could find 101 uses for it.

Thats what i figure, then stretch the bed using a donor bed which is probably why he has a door on one side and a cap on the other(two different beds)

A drywall, vinyl siding,or carpentry contractor. You can haul a sheet of drywall, siding boxes, and even up to 16' lumber in a 12' bed. Some people use trucks for work:lol:. Back when these trucks were current ('77 0r so) there was a guy around here who had one stretched to 12' and it was tandem. It had chrome spoke wheels and I thing it looked awesome. It was very well done with sharp paint and the wheel wells were done just right. I never talked to the guy. This was back when a Dooley pickup was a fairly new thing and the whole truckin' craze was really taking off.
I also have a friend who has a recycled lumber company. Another friend is his mechanic. He runs all GM trucks and Tommy custom built a 12 or more foot flatbed C/30 DRW with a tag axle.

I would love to have that truck, very neat. Make it dump and haul some dirt! :D That thing is SO cool.

I there was a red one in PA, on CL a while back, pretty cool. There is a 4X4 DRW w/a flatbed on CL in ME currently. Pretty cool trucks, plenty of room.

Re: 12 foot bed?

Looks like they did a decent job but as mentioned earlier the filler door on one side & gas cap on the other would bug me. I would have to fix that.

You could easily over load that thing with so much bed area.

It doesn't say or show if it is 8-lug or not. I would hope it is not a 1/2-ton.

Re: 12 foot bed?

from what i read on here a while ago, they made these trucks for ambulances with the single cab and an no bed and people have just put beds on them

I have seen a couple in my day, never knew the story behind them before.

Re: 12 foot bed?

I like it, but those filler doors would need to match.
