New paint CARC 383,vortex bedliner,new bfg tires,classic industries dash pad,1986 CUCV 1008 26,708 miles..I have had this for 8 months now...

Scuff it with 300 sandpaper,tape it off and spray..

This was done by me and a couple of friends..My friend and his dad have been in the body shop biz for over 30 years..I had some real good help,it turned out great..The wheels are stock 16 inch and the tires are bfg all terrain 285/75/16...Thanks for the comments....

I wanted to ask, where did you find the paint? I am looking for the desert tan paint to use on my truck.

I did find out that Hod rod flatz makes a satin version of the desert tan.

Regarding the flat paint, does it need multiple layers like a normal glossly paint or does it behave more like primer?

My friends dad was the one that found the paint..I am not sure where...We sprayed the truck twice because we had extra paint..It looks great,I love the way it turned out..

Im digging the eye bolts also in the bed. Might do that today, there is never anything to tie to
