Firewall insulation

Was wondering if I have the cab floors and firewall coated with bedliner do you think it will be enough for noise reduction and heat deflection to take away the need for the fiber insulation

No. I had the floor and back wall of my 76 sprayed with RhinoLiner and it was a bad idea. I got a lot of heat off of the transmission hump, and the floor was slippery when wet - the cottage cheese surface wore off quickly from my feet moving in and out of the truck. I put floor mats over the RhinoLiner but the mats would slide around a lot.
I would just clean everything out well and sand, repaint if necessary. POR or similar paint is recommended by others for minor rust issues after repair. Use stock or aftermarket insulation for a better result. Just regular carpet and Huskyliners work best for me, along with Walmart treadmill mat over the hump and on the exposed carpet area by the door entry.

If noise reduction is your main goal. Take a look at this site.

You can buy the individual products in larger quantities from vendors for less money.

Actually, I found some minor rust
T on this cab that I bought on the firewall, I was wondering if I por15 it and then bed coat it, would that be enough or should I go ahead and get the firewall insulation on there as well. I planned on putting the padded rubber floor down anyway

The padded rubber floor from LMC is pretty much my goal for my BURB.
