I would be so poor if I lived south of the border. Craigslist is a killer for me.

And I'll take the grill, lol.

You could make some decent cash if you were to pick it up and part it out, but I wouldn't be able to bring myself to kill that thing.

Just talked to the guy ....

Turns out hes doing a frame off on a '63 that hes owned for 30 years...

Purchased the '62 for the cherry bed it has .... but family talked him into keeping the original stepper.

Gonna go check it out tomorrow ...

He lives VERY close to me, might have a new friend in town and a NEW MEMBER SOON !!

Chief, I am sure most of the guys here would let you blame the purchase on us, we have large shoulders and can take anything your little woman could through at us, besides we dont live with her!

I would rather "Beg for Forgiveness" than "Ask For Permission"

I completely rebuilt my 66 gmc, my wife did not know I had it, picked her up at the airport this tuesday, a white tahoe was parked next to me at baggage pickup, my wife started to put her carryon in the white Tahoe, I told her that was not her tahoe but this was my new pickup.....she said "What" "Why" we have been married for 40 years I guess she knows me by now. Nothing else has been mentioned except she said she liked the color, and does it have A/C ? I told her not yet but it would soon......She likes it. Kieth :gmc2:

Buy it......................:gmc2:

Re: CL '62 For Sale in my town...Not mine

This is the way I usually do it....

While she is on the phone, during one of her loooonng calls,

I walk up and say "...hey, I'm gonna buy that nice mans '62 down the street"

She looks at me and gives me that 'raised eyebrow' "ya right" look !!

I walk away, nothin more is said.

So, when she comes home one of these day, it'll be there .....

She will be like "WTF ??"

I'll just say "I told you I was!"

:lol::lol::lol:

At least I didnt lie ....
