Need some junk 216 pistons

So, last year I was supposed to be helping my wife do something like clean toilets and I disappeared into the garage and made this as a 9/11 tribute:

I've been fielding requests to make more ever since but I got the piston with connecting rod and bearings from a scrap 216 but I didn't keep any extras. I'd be willing to pay scrap price or more plus shipping for a box of 6 with some bearings thrown in if anybody would be willing to get rid of their junk. Or I'd make one for you in payment!

I'm sure there are other pistons that look like this too...but later model ones don't have the same features.

let me look around and see what I have. I know I have a set of 216 rods, a bunch of push rods, old rockers and lifters, not rollers just flat tappet. I may have some pistons. 216 would be steel pistons 235 would be aluminum, do you have a preference?

Steel if you have 'em.

In your picture you have a 235 piston and rod. I have 2 235 pistons and 6 216 rods. The difference in the rods is 216 is a Babbitt filled rod and 235 takes a insert bearing. 235 pistons are aluminum and 216 are cast steel. I'm assuming you don't care what they are from as long as they look similar and have a little character to them. I have a few boxes of GMC rods and pistons with full skirts like the 235's. Once I go through it I'll contact you.

Cool, thanks a bunch! I had no idea those were 235 pistons.

I just had to say that is really cool. Depending on cost I might be interested if you want to sell one

How about an entire engine I believe is a 216 out of a 49?

I couldn't give mine away either, ended up scrapping it. The 216 and some other junk netted me $50 and mud over my ankles at the scrapyard.

I hauled scrap yesterday the forecast was for rain(and it is)today, I knew it would be a big sloppin mud hole if I waited to haul it. So you said 50 for the engine? I aint far from you. Its and engine and transmission out of the truck.Any funds I get will help educate young minds(child labor). My extra spending money is gone for this project.
