welding bed corners back?

Are you guys welding the step side bed corners back up or just bolting?

I was going to weld back up but not after painting all, and I was wanting to paint all pieces apart, so now what?

Has anybody put a bed together yet on here?

Just did mine but it's bolted together and I never considered welding it. My thinking is the flex potential of such a long thin piece of metal would be magnified if welded. Was waiting for some "gurus" to offer an opinion first, but that's mine.

I'm more familiar with the earlier trucks. But anytime you can paint individual panels and bolt them together you are better off.mostly because of rust.
just my opinion
