exhaust pipes?

Does anybody sell JUST the dual headpipes for a small block? What I want is the exhaust pipes from the stock manifold back to just past the trans crossmember.
I'll take care of the rest of the system later.
I find complete systems but haven't found just the front pipes.

Why not just have a shop make them for you?;):chevy:

I'm not ready for the whole system yet. I just want the headpipes and muffs to quiet it down some for the neighbors when I move it in and out of the shop. Don't even have a bed on it yet.

Thats what I figured. Go to a local muffler shop and tell them what you need they should be more than happy to help you out. For that matter measure the length you need to the exshaust flange down to where it will curve under the truck and ask them to make you a set.;):chevy:

Check Rock auto, they had some pipes listed that I checked for, you might find the ones you need.

Yeah, that's probably what I'll end up doing.
It would be fun driving it to the shop right up to the part where I get pulled over for disturbing the piece by some young fresh out of the accademy johnny law looking to show off his new uniform and shiney barney 5 badge.
And here I am impersonating a responsible adult. ;)

Thanks guys.

I bought a kit from lmc and by the time i modified them to fit i would have been better off by going to a muffler shop and having them custom fit the down pipes, that way when your ready to finish the system you have a base to start with thats made to fit your truck.
my 2 cents worth.

Re: exhaust pipes?

What about just buying some of that crappy flex hose from Autozone, or your parts store of choice?

That is my plan, bolt some of that crap in there and hang the mufflers while I work on the truck then when it is ready to roll have the shop do it all at once.
