Re: Would this compressor work
PROBABLY - check cfm ratings of compressor and paint gun

Re: Would this compressor work
check to see if it is an "oilless" compressor if so they are very very loud and have quite short lifespans b4 burning out

Re: Would this compressor work
Probably will pump air. Looks to be oil less. Being as it is a direct drive it will be loud. It will not live long under hard use. You will be happier in the long run to look for an oil lubricated machine. Also I wouldn't worry so much about the paint gun CFM. Sanders are the real air hog. But what would I know I have only worked on them everyday for the past 8 years.

Re: Would this compressor work
I have a Craftsman Professional 80 gallon oiled compressor and it is LOUD. I could only imagine how loud their oilless compressor would be. I would keep looking for an oiled compressor of a different brand. My 60 gallon Campbell Hausfeld is pretty quiet and puts out 9 cfm@90psi which will keep up with most tools. Also check the cfm on your spray gun.
