Photoshop this Truck

I'd like the brown to stay brown on the following pictures and then I would like the mirrors, axles, and any type of accessory to be colored red. Leave the wheels how they are, and everything else. Mainly the mirrors and the axles red. I'd like to see how the red looks against this color of brown. Like fire engine red, make it pop. Thanks guys!

If my opinion matters at all, I would DEFINITELY leave them black. If you're going to paint the mirrors anything, white or silver would be cool. I'd leave the axles black too.

The truck looks sharp the way it is.

Re: Photoshop this Truck

I want some sort of bright accent color against the brown that's not going to be black. I don't want to be like every other square body restoration and this is my way of adding my own flare to the truck... if not red against the brown then what color do you guys think would be better.... the amber from the marker lights? Whatever the color is.... it's getting painted on the mirrors and I'll have part of the gas tank showing so I think the gas tank and the axles... I just think it will really standout! But I don't want it to stand out in a bad way.

Re: Photoshop this Truck

Brown and white is too much like a toy to me, brown and black is too common, so what color is it that's going to be my interior and my accent color?

Re: Photoshop this Truck

Since you are asking, I don't think any accent color is going to look good with a dark brown paint. There is a reason the only color interiors you could get on dark brown trucks were shades of brown. It is just going to clash IMO. Maybe slightly lighter shade of brown or something but I dont even know about that.

Re: Photoshop this Truck

Welp, my truck came factory brown with a maroon interior. And the brown that will be going on my truck is comparable to the lightest brown in the pictures above... I understand what you're saying but i'm really trying to think here. I don't mind if it clashes or stands out against the brown so long as it turns heads.... in a good way

Re: Photoshop this Truck

Depends on the end result you want. if you want something bold and different i would look at a burnt orange metallic color or a lite fawn metallic or pearl color. Although the fawn/taupe can look close to the white scheme they cam with it allows you to add metallic and bring more brown or silver/grey to the colour

perhaps something more subtle? you could use a graphite grey either solid or metallic, or perhaps using a lighter shade or two of the body colour. It all depends on what you want.

good luck, can wait to see what you decide, looks like its will be a real nice truck whatever you decide

Your truck is one that is going to turn heads and stand out as it is. It is a beautiful rig. It just has "THE LOOK". The one that everyone trys to get. IMHO if you try and make it stand out any more than it does, its not doing to be in a good way.

Definitely want it to be bold

this isn't my truck either! This is a build by another member on here BIGJWEAVER... The color is just exactly what I want. I got the suburban doors as well and I have a single wheel just going for the same color... I'm currently getting ready for paint so I need to make a few last minute decisions.

need to see some pics... I am a long way from paint decisions on mine but know i want to change it up a bit

Re: Photoshop this Truck

i'll post some pictures of my truck later on tonight. The paint is in ROUGH condition, but the body and frame are immaculent! The fender well on the driver's side front doesn't even have the notorious rust spot.... and the frame is so clean that it still has the date the frame was made stamped on it in the original factory paint
