racing parts in the misc section

Guys I sold my dragster as a roller and I have a bunch of stuff for sale as I work on retiring from racing after 35 years. Please take a look and I will ad stuff as I clean out the trailer and shop.
Thanks
Jimmy

You should probably list the compression ratio with ring type so we know whether or not its for gas, race gas or alcohol. Decent price for it, how many runs or hours on it?

Re: racing parts in the misc section

The motor is 14.5 to 1. We ran this motor on gas when we first built it with a carb fro Pro systems. We then went to the terminator that is for sale also. We dynoed it both ways and it made about 4 less hp with the terminator but a little more torque. The big change was on the track where the hood scoop came into play. It picked up about 2 tenths. With the use of the duel fuel system the motor is warmed on gas till the water temp is 180 and the oil gets close to 150. We also drive the car on gas to the staging lanes and back to the trailer after the pass. Oil stays very clean and with the mas of the dart block the water and oil temp stayed very stable. I need to check the log book and count the time slips but it less than 200 passes and most of those are 1/8 mile. We used to do mostly ihra division and national events and run quick rod or top dragster. Last time out we ran 4.81 in the 1/8th at 144 with density altitude of 2800 feet and in the mid 90's for temp. The dragster weighed 1900 pounds. I will update the ad with more details on the motor.
Thanks
Jimmy
